It's the last day in January, and I'm off to the 2018 Olympics! I still can't believe that all of this is happening, but I'm enjoying every minute of it. We left SLC today, and as you're reading this, I'm probably somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.
I had some great training days at our pre-Olympic camp in Deer Valley. I left the US feeling strong and confident. I can't wait to represent the United States in Moguls!
I plan to document a lot of my experiences on my social media channels and this blog. Stay tuned for frequent updates from my trip!
None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for my great support system. My family has made tremendous sacrifices to get me in this position. My parents bought me a Viking camper so my brother, Jesse, and I could travel to our training venues and save on rent costs. Jesse helped push me all summer to maintain healthy habits and train as hard as I could. I'd also like to thank all of my friends for pushing me to be better everyday. Finally, I'd like to thank my sponsors:
Also, GoPro for providing me with equipment to help document my experiences in Peyongchang!
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I'm excited for what's to come, and to share this adventure with you!
